Clara Amfo is one of British radio and television’s most dynamic voices and faces. A trusted broadcaster best known for her award winning work on BBC Radio 1's 'Live Lounge' and evening slot 'Future Sounds' voted Music Week's 'Best Radio Show' 2023. 2024 she blazed a new trail, hosting The Brit Awards and launched her Friday night music show 'Studio Sessions' on ITV.

With music, the arts and live television being obvious passions, she has brought her natural enthusiasm to many cultural highlights and historical events including, Glastonbury, Global Citizen, Coronation of King Charles III and the inaugural Earth Shot prize which went on to win a television BAFTA. 

Known for her warm, honest style, as well as being a sought after presenter, Clara is a skilled interviewer. To date she has sat down with some of the world’s most prolific artists including Jay-Z, Kendrick Lemar, Dua Lipa, Sir Elton John, Harry Styles and Billie Eilish who personally requested Clara for her LA Special.

Clara enjoyed a dream come true, sitting alongside Mama Ru as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race, another dream was realised via International Women’s Day, as Clara had the honour of being immortalised as a Barbie® Shero doll which is pride of place in her office!

Her work has seen her recognised on the covers of Cosmopolitan, Grazia, Stylist and British Vogue - presenting British Vogue's 'Forces For Change' series with BMW.  Clara is also trustee for The Royal Academy Of Arts and a proud ambassador of Bloody Good Period, founding their 'Bloody Good Music' event fundraising vital funds for the charity.

As an enthusiastic lover of cinema, Clara has hosted the iconic 'Film' show on BBC, 'Ultimates' on Sky TV as well presenting for BAFTA, capturing the excitement of the red carpet live for both the film and television ceremonies. She continues to host film premieres including Barbie, Marvel’s Black Panther, Disney’s The Lion King and Bond 25: No Time To Die, launching the latter live from Ian Fleming's home in Jamaica.

Clara took part in the eighteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing leaving the show with a leaderboard topping Charleston, an extra passion for dance and an army of new fans. 2023 saw Clara pick up the award for Best Radio Show at The Music Week awards for the the third time and BPG’s Audio Presenter Of The Year. She launched her podcast ‘This City’ with guests including Louis Theroux, Little Simz and Edward  Enninful all sharing their stories about London with her. She also leads astrological dating series Written In The Stars, globally on Discovery +.

Obsessed with all things pop culture and trivia, Clara has been crowned the winner of all her appearances on The Weakest Link, Pointless and The Hitlist raising thousands for her chosen charities and has made notable appearances on The Last Leg, Would I Lie To You and The Great British Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer.
